Whenever you want to download, upload or send any large file to your friends, you have to wait for a long time. It is very time consuming process and files having large size occupy a lot of disk space as well. There are many programs that allow you to compress files but I recommend you to WinRAR archiver because it is very easy to use and it has capability to highly compress files. In this tutorial I will complete guide you about compression method. So follow these easy steps.

You must have WinRAR software installed in your computer. I think you should install Beta version 5.02.

1. Open WinRAR archiver and go to option menu and click on settings from drop down menu.
   
2. Settings window will be opened. Now click on Compression tab and within this tab click on Create Default button.
   
3. Another window will be opened. Within the General tab make some changes. Select Compression method Best. In Archive Options tick the Create solid archive and Lock archive.
   
4. Go to Advanced tab and click on Compression button. 
   
5. Select Prediction order maximum 64 and Memory to use, MB maximum 128 and save settings by clicking on OK button.

You have all done. Now you can highly compress any file just right click on it and select add to archive option from drop down menu.
